The 16th Auto China 2020 was grandly opened on September 26. In Hall E4 of Beijing International Exhibition Center, BAIC, along with ARCFOX, BEIJING Auto, Beijing Off-road, BAIC Foton, Beijing Benz and Beijing Hyundai, all brands under the Group, showcased the latest results of its high-quality development with an all-new brand structure and upgraded products. New products like ARCFOX αT, BEIJING-X7 and BJ40 2020 Edition were unveiled, while several self-developed models of BEIJING Auto, including the 2020 concept car RADIANCE, its first plug-in hybrid vehicle BEIJING-X7 PHEV and BJ30, were released, shining brilliantly at the show.
BAIC Group’s Party Committee Secretary and Board Chairman Jiang Deyi, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and General Manager Zhang Xiyong, Party Committee Deputy Secretary Han Yonggui, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Cai Suping, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Jiang Zili, Deputy General Manager Ye Zhengmao and Deputy General Manager Liao Zhenbo attended the activity organized by BAIC on the first day of the show.

Self-owned Brands Unveil Upgraded Models
On the first day of the show, ARCFOX, BEIJING Auto, BAIC Foton, Beijing Benz and Beijing Hyundai respectively held a grand press conference. At the press conference of BEIJING Auto, Cai Suping, member of the Standing Committee of Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of BAIC Group, delivered a speech, saying the auto industry is a pillar of national economy, and remaining committed to developing self-owned brands is a reflection of the Group’s will, confidence and resolve to make self-owned brands bigger and stronger. In the future, BAIC will focus on the all-round improvements of technologies, brands, marketing and services, and integrate traditional technologies with the trends of the auto industry known as lightweight, electrification, intelligence and connectivity, so as to provide worldwide customers and industrial chain partners with better products services and create brand-new incremental values.
BEIJING Auto released BEIJING-X7 PHEV and BEIJING RADIANCE concept car. BEIJING-X7 PHEV is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid vehicle, with a comprehensive duration as long as 1,010km and the 0-100km/h acceleration time as short as 7.3 seconds. Equipped with the L4 autonomous driving system, BEIJING RADIANCE is the brand’s all-new flagship concept car, and the duration under the pure electric mode is up to 800km.
This is ARCFOX αT, the first mass-produced model of BAIC’s high-end new energy vehicle brand ARCFOX. Developed by BAIC in collaboration with Magna and Huawei, it’s the world’s first auto product commercially adopting the 5G technology, with the NEDC duration as 653km, the 0-100km/h acceleration time as 4.6 seconds, and the overall advanced driving assistance reaching L2.5.
You can’t miss BAIC’s booth if you pursue manly driving or riding experience. At the auto show, Beijing Off-road released BJ30, the first odd number mode series positioned to be urban SUVs, and showcased off-road models such as BJ212, BJ80 2020 Edition, BJ40 City Hunter 2020 Edition and BJ40 2020 Edition. The “manly” models made up an “iron legion” at the booth of BAIC as part of the “distinctive” products of the Group.
Besides, Beijing Benz and Beijing Hyundai, both joint ventures under BAIC Group, respectively displayed several brand-new models; the auto parts & components business platform Hainachuan unveiled its latest products and technological achievements related to lightweight, electrification, intelligence and connectivity at Booth W1-W04.
