On November 16, BAIC officially released two new energy vehicles EC3 and EX5 at CADAM, the most important auto show in Paraguay.
CADAM is the largest and most influential auto show annually held in Paraguay. It drew nearly 40 world-famous brands this year. BAIC participated in the exhibition with five models including D20, X55, EX360, EC3 and EX5. With attractive appearance and rich technological configuration, the brand-new X55 , EC3 and EX5 caught attention of media and consumers and became a spotlight of the auto show.
At the release conference, Mr. Jorge, Brand Manager of TIMBO, the distribution of BAIC in Paraguay, introduced the competitiveness of BAIC in product R&D and manufacturing, as well as the market performance and future plan of BAIC in Paraguay. Mr. Hou Jie, Sales Manager of BAIC International Central and South American Area, briefed the exceptional achievements that BAIC BJEV has made in China's market and detailed the technological and safety configuration of EC3 and EX5. After the new vehicle unveiling ceremony, Mr. Jorge had friendly talks with the journalists from 15 mainstream media and consumers at the site.
Since BAIC entry into the Paraguayan market in 2016, BAIC has delivered more than 400 vehicle, including over 50 new energy vehicles. It retail sales is ranking in the top 5 Chinese auto brands by market sales. In partnership with TIMBO, with quality products and services, BAIC has further enhanced its product power and brand power in Paraguay and even the whole south America, and grown into one of the most trustworthy Chinese auto brands in the local market.
