BAIC Experience Tour for Azerbaijan, Columbian and Egyptian media

On April 19-24, 2015, BAIC invited mainstream media of Azerbaijan, Columbia and Egypt to visit China and carry out an experience tour to BAIC. The media group visited Auto Shanghai, BAIC Zhuzhou Branch, BAIC Beijing Branch and BAIC headquarters. They took test drives and made exclusive interviews.

This experience tour for overseas media coincided with Auto Shanghai. As the first A-level auto exhibition that has been certified by UFI in China, Auto Shanghai has attracted auto enterprises and media all over the world this year. Three countries’ media visited BAIC booth at Auto Shanghai, showing strong interest for BAIC’s “Internet +” Internet of Vehicles system, and spoke highly of new energy vehicle models. Media friends fully affirmed the cutting-edge technologies of Auto Shanghai as well as R&D capabilities of BAIC.

In the headquarters of BAIC, media representatives from three countries spoke highly of BAIC’s time-honored culture and history, influential scale and strong independent R&D capabilities, and expressed full confidence for BAIC products’ outlook in Azerbaijan, Columbia and Egypt.

Afterwards, Dong Haiyang, president of BAIC International,had an exclusive interview with the media group. He expressed his viewpoints concerning Auto Shanghai, BAIC’s internationalization strategy, product plan and positioning, and brand communication, and expounded on BAIC’s efforts of localization in overseas market. Besides, Dr. Dong emphasized the cooperative philosophy of “making friends first and then carrying out business”, and expressed appreciation and support for the overseas partners.
