On the morning of November 2nd, 2016, BAIC Group (BAIC) held the ”Departure Ceremony of Vehicles Officially Designated for the 2016 G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting” at Beijing automobile industry R&D Base. As the designated vehicles departed and headed for the venue along the Yanqi Lake one after another, BAIC’s service mission began.
To implement the G20 Leaders’ Communique, Hangzhou Summit, the G20 Blueprint on Innovative Growth and the G20 Innovation Action Plan, the G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting will take place in Beijing from November 3rd to 5th. Representatives from G20 member countries, guest countries and related international organizations will attend the meeting and related events. As a key enterprise in China’s auto industry and a representative of Beijing’s high-end manufacturing, BAIC will provide full-course vehicle services for the meeting, showing the outstanding quality of “Chinese vehicles” to foreign attendees.
In response to the meeting’s theme of innovation, BJEV also provided new energy vehicles such as EH300, EU260, EV160 and EX260, showing BAIC’s leadership in the new energy vehicle industry and innovative spirit of exploring forward-looking technologies.
